The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas offers a version for all needs and tastes. Offered from about $ 35,690, the Atlas gets a ton of standard equipment. Under the hood, a 235-horsepower with 258 lb-ft of torque turbo engine is standard. This engine offers plenty of power with impressive fuel economy to boot. What more could you ask for?
Maybe the 3.6-liter V6 developing 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. This engine is obviously the most robust of the two engines, but its 8-speed automatic transmission does a great job to properly measure the performance of the Atlas and ensure a good level of comfort and efficiency.
As mentioned earlier, the Atlas offers three rows of standard seats. Even with all the rows in place, however, it still offers 583 liters of cargo space in the trunk. Lower all the rows of seats and you get a trunk that can hold 2,741 liters. Not to mention that the third row of Atlas seats is really useful and can accommodate children or young adults for several hours.
